The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe's Reservation is located thirty five miles northeast of Reno, Nevada in a remote desert area located in the counties of Washoe, Lyon, and Storey. The area of the reservation contains 475,000 acres or 742.2 square miles. Out of this acreage approximately 112,000 acres cover the surface of a terminal desert lake, Pyramid Lake. 2021-2022 PLPT FISHING GUIDE PERMIT &
BOAT CHARTER APPLICATION

Submission of the 2021-2022 Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Fishing Guide and Boat Charter applications are currently being accepted by the Tribal Secretary. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions in place, acceptance of applications has been extended until September 11, 2020 by 4:30 p.m. Applications received after September 11, 2020 by 4:30 p.m. will NOT be accepted, no exceptions. All applications will be approved by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council on September 18, 2020, at their Special Tribal Council meeting. Fees will be held until approval of applications. With this in mind and to prevent further delay, please ensure that your applications are complete and readable including a copy of your current liability insurance. For new applications, a background is required to be completed with results submitted with the application. Applications are available for download from thegateio website, by contacting the Tribal Secretary at tribalsecretary@plpt.nsn.us or by calling 775-574-1000.

PLPT Fishing, Camping & Boating Regulations - Updated 10/14/19

• Effective 1/01/2020 the Pyramid Lake Tribe is no longer accepting American Express for Payment.
• Effective 10/01/2015 the Pyramid Lake Tribe is offering a 10% discount on all permits if you are a Senior (65 and older), military, or a member of recognized tribe.
• All people meeting the senior category that have purchased a permit in the past will be automatically switched over on 10/01/2015 and will be immediately eligible for the discounted price. Any individual who has never had a Pyramid Lake Tribal permit in the past will be able to register as a senior/military/or tribal member and therefore receive the discounted price.
• For Military and Tribal members from other tribes that have purchased a license in the past you will need to contact the Pyramid Lake Tribe to have your profile updated to receive future discounts on permit purchases. There will be no credits issued for failure to contact our office prior to having your profile updated.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT- The Tribal Council is moving forward with implementing the Tribe's Economic Development Plan and accessing the Pyramid Lake Paiute Economic Development Fund Created by PL-101-618. Please see the implementation process diagram below.

ECONOMIC STIMULUS PAYMENT INFORMATION (updated 1/29/2021)

This information pertains to all eligible adult tribal members (18 and over) who were included on the final roll as approved by Tribal Council Resolution PL 34-28 on April 6, 2018.

Tribal representatives will begin accepting distribution forms, in-person, on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, at the Nixon Gym. 

The Enrollment Office will begin accept Distribution Forms on an ongoing-basis during regular business hours on April 23, 2018. 

The Enrollment Office will also begin accepting Distribution Forms by email or fax on April 23, 2018.  Send your completed documents to: plenrollment@plpt.nsn.us or fax to: 775-201-1941.
